What is your passion?
Travelling, getting to know new places, cultures and people in each place. Their stories, tales of life, architecture and food bring me closer to the ways of living and doing of present and past societies...
Why are you in coaching?
I consider coaching as a very powerful discipline from which I can contribute, by facilitating the learning process, to help people, teams and organisations achieve the goals they propose and do so from a space that provides them with wellbeing and satisfaction. Moreover, I am still in love.
How did you come to coaching?
As an architect, one of my roles was to be a site manager. Something that struck me was that people who individually had standards of excellence in their work would lower their standards when working with others. After a few weeks I began to recognise a pattern in all of them: we started the meeting talking about the work, the task, and ended up talking about the people and the relationships between people... My learning in site management had focused on calculations, budgets, site planning, critical path, etc..., people relationships and effective team building had not even been mentioned... I decided that I would learn about them in order to be a better site manager and I started a career in coaching... It was a "one way street", I simply fell in love with the profession.
Define yourself in one sentence
I move from the passion for what I do, the search for coherence and excellence (although I often find myself in demand...), I care about aesthetics, the well-being of people, including myself, and to be every day in the place where I choose to be.
