What is your passion?

Books, Marías, and Murakami. The sea, cinema. Swimming. The people I love. My daughter!

Why are you in coaching?

I’ve been moved by coaching. I’ve seen coachees get emotional. Their reactions, their progress, their faces when they hear themselves respond, how they define their goal, working on a vision with them is priceless.

How did you come to coaching?

By accident. I started working at EEC without knowing what coaching was. It took me some time to understand it. Then I tried it. I lived it. I got certified, and now, as a coach, I help others try it and experience it.

Define yourself in one sentence

"My life has been filled with terrible misfortunes, most of which never happened." - Michel de Montaigne.

What is your favourite book and song and why?

Book:

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. Seeing the phrase in which I define myself, it’s no surprise that I chose this powerful reading to ground oneself in the present, value day-to-day life, and alleviate suffering. With exercises and relaxation techniques. A reading you can return to several times in life.

And some non-coaching books:

  • Tomorrow in the Battle Think of Me by Javier Marías
  • Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami
  • Completely Friday by Luis García Montero
  • The False Trail by Henning Mankell

Just to name a few...

Song:

  • Falling Slowly, a song from the movie ONCE, which I also recommend.
  • Que Yo No Lo Sabía by Elefantes, featuring Antonio Vega
  • El Sitio de Mi Recreo by Antonio Vega
  • Teresa Rampell by Manel
  • Emborracharme by Lori Meyers
